Section II: Code of Conduct
The Terran Federation Code of Conduct is the official document outlining what behaviors and mannerisms are expected of every member during certain times and events.
Article I: Conduct of Individual Members
1. TF members of all branches and positions are expected to behave in a manner that represents the values of professionalism, mutual respect, and honor at all times.
2. TF members must wear the proper and complete uniform when with other members, unless stated otherwise by their supervisory officer.
3. TF members must always keep the correct emblem on at all times once initiated, removal of the emblem signals to other members and leadership that you are no longer interested in serving the clan in a dishonorable way. Members are authorized to remove the armor uniform and service tag when not playing with the clan.
4. TF members must treat other members and authority figures with the proper respect for their rank, responding using the proper mannerisms such as Sir/Ma'am or addressing the person by their rank title are expected of every member during all interactions, unless otherwise stated by the figure.
Article II: Conduct of Individual Members In-Game
1. TF members will lower their weapons upon entering a game.
2. TF members will not T-bag in uniform.
3. TF members will salute staff members upon initiating an interaction.
4. TF members will not fire upon other TF members unless given a lawful order to do so by a superior, or during cases of training scenarios or emergency.
5. TF members will not fire upon foreign clan members unless given a lawful order to do so by a superior, except in cases of self defense or in defense of TF assets in game.
6. TF members will treat foreign clan members with the proper mutual respect they deserve, and properly represent the Terran Federation by behaving in a professional manner.
Article III: Conduct of Staff Members and High Command
1. Staff members must behave in a manner in accordance with their position, and must treat both their subordinates, equals, and superiors with the mutual respect they deserve as members of the TF.
2. Staff members are not authorized to command the members of another squad or branch, expect in combat situations or with the permission of the staff member in charge of those members. An exception to this rule is when members join the game of another branch or squad without their supervisory officer present; in that case they are subject to the command of the staff member in charge of that game.
Article IV: Conduct on Discord or Online
1. TF members will not post racist, sexist, or explicit content on our server or any community server.
2. TF members will remain professional and respectful of all TF members regardless of personal feelings or opinions.
3. TF members will not spam, and will post only channel topic-related content.
Article V: Disciplinary Action
1. For infractions of a minor level, discipline should be handled at the squad level and may include extra duties, disciplinary training, and a formal counseling explaining why the infraction was inappropriate and what should be done in the future to correct such behavior.
2. For infractions of an intermediate level, discipline may be handled at a higher level if necessary and may include a demotion in rank, extra duties, disciplinary training, a formal counseling, or even unit transfer.
3. For infractions of a major level, discipline should be handled at a higher level and may include demotion, dishonorable discharge, blacklisting, or a formal counseling.
Article VI: Honorable Service and Discharges
1. TF members who lose interest or have circumstances change IRL, may respectfully request a discharge from the TF military by formally typing their request over discord to their supervisory officer. Members who abide by this will be granted an honorable discharge and will likely be able to re-join their former branch in the future.
2. TF members who abruptly leave the clan without a formal discharge request explaining their reasoning, will be dishonorably discharged.
3. Staff members who wish to retire must find a qualified replacement prior to being discharged.
4. Members who serve exceptionally well with outstanding conduct and contribute greatly to the TF, will be recorded on the Wall of Fame page upon their honorable discharge for all future generations to remember.
